Microchip – linh kiện và thiết bị chính hãng
Microchip Technology là nhà sản xuất vi mạch của Mỹ (Arizona), nổi tiếng với vi điều khiển PIC, AVR (từ Atmel, mua năm 2016) và các dòng ARM SAM, cùng bộ nhớ, giao tiếp và quản lý nguồn.

Cách chọn mã Microchip
- Vi điều khiển: số bit, dung lượng Flash/RAM, số chân I/O, ngoại vi (ADC, UART, CAN) và kiểu vỏ (DIP, SOIC, QFN).
- EEPROM: dung lượng, giao tiếp (I²C dòng 24xx hay SPI dòng 25xx), điện áp.
- Chú ý hậu tố mã: -I là dải nhiệt công nghiệp, -E là mở rộng; /P, /SO, /ML là kiểu vỏ.
