The STMicroelectronics MPU expansion board features the STSPIN948 motor driver IC for brushed DC motors. The interfaces with the STM32MP microprocessor via a 40-pin GPIO connector, utilizing I2C, UART, PWM, and GPIO connections. The STSPIN948 is a 4.5A dual full-bridge driver designed for high dynamic performance, enabling high-frequency PWM control with precise duty cycles.
